Notice of County Clerk and Recorder's Intent to Establish a Property Fraud Referral and Review Process

Notice is hereby given that the Iroquois County Clerk and Recorder intends to establish a property fraud referral and review process. The Illinois General Assembly in 55ILCS 5/3-5010.5 authorizes the County Recorder to help protect owners of real property from fraudulent filings by establishing a process to review and refer to the circuit courts, documents suspected to be fraudulent.
