On behalf of the Iroquois County Board, we are inviting qualified Certified Public Accounting firms to submit proposals for consideration to provide professional accounting services for the County.

The County is seeking an experienced firm to assist with financial reporting, auditing support, advisory services, and other related accounting functions as required to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. The selected firm will be expected to demonstrate a high level of expertise in governmental accounting and familiarity with public sector financial requirements.

Interested firms should provide a detailed proposal outlining their qualifications, experience with similar governmental entities, staffing structure, approach to services, and fee schedule. Please also include references from comparable public sector clients.

Proposals will be reviewed by the Iroquois County Board and/or its designated committee. Selection will be based on qualifications, relevant experience, proposed approach, and cost-effectiveness.

All proposals must be received no later than July 1, 2026. Submissions should be directed to: Jill Johnson, Finance Manager, and dropped off at the Iroquois County Administrative Building located at 1001 E. Grant St. Watseka, IL  60970.

The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, and select the proposal that is in the best interest of the County.

We appreciate your interest in serving Iroquois County and look forward to your response.

Sincerely,

Paul Ducat & Jamie Bakken
