IROQUOIS COUNTY COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH 708 BOARD - RFP

The Iroquois County Community Mental Health 708 Board, referred as 708 board, is seeking applications from qualified entities/persons for the 2023 grant year. The 708 board has allocated $600,000 in the form of a grant(s) to provide services for Iroquois County residents.

Pursuant to MENTAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES (405 ILCS 20/) Community Mental Health Act, the 708 board is focusing its grant allocations to provide mental health services, including services for persons with a developmental disability or substance use disorder.

There is no standard form for the application. Entities/persons wishing to provide services to Iroquois County residents need to submit a proposal to the 708 board. Proposals need to include dollar amount requested, a plan on targeted audience, how the funds will be used in providing services, proof of licensure, insurance, etc.  The locations that will be used to provide services. Locations do not have to be within Iroquois County, so long as the funds are used for Iroquois County residents only. Iroquois County Schools are encouraged to apply to promote mental health awareness and services as well.

The 708 Board will meet and open proposals on Monday, September 25th at 5pm at the Iroquois County Administrative Center boardroom. All applicants are encouraged to attend to answer any questions the board may have.
