Employment Opportunity - Environmental Specialist

The Iroquois County Public Health Department (ICPHD) is looking for an Environmental Specialist. Amongst other duties, the Environmental Specialist will be responsible for conducting a variety of programs: Food service sanitation, private wells, radon, tobacco, body art, water supplies, solid waste, and private sceptics. This candidate must be a licensed driver with a vehicle that is insured and is in good working condition to travel to inspection sites and to attend occasional regional trainings. Office location: 1001 East Grant Street, Watseka, Illinois.

Schedule: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Experience/Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from and accredited college or university with a minimum of 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in the physical and/or biological sciences.

Salary: $38,000 to $42,000 annual salary.
