NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Public notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026 commencing at 6:00 p.m. Iroquois County Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing at the Clifford Bury Administrative Center, 1001 East Grant Street, Watseka, Illinois. to consider the application of USS Satrailes Solar, LLC, zoning case # 26-ZBA-002, which seeks a Conditional Use Permit to construct and operate a commercial solar energy facility on 19.9 acres of land and an approximate nameplate capacity of 3.32 MW(ac). The application also contains a variance application for landscape screening. The location of the proposal is in Loda Township, Parcel # 36-32-300-009 Section 32, Township, 24N, Range 10 East. The approximate address for the parcel involved 1925 E County Road 000 North Road Loda, IL. The parcel is owned by Sandra K Kief. The owner address is 442 CO RD 1700 N Champaign, IL 61822.
The applicant is USS Satriales Solar, LLC and is a limited liability company. USS Satriales Solar, LLC’s registered place of business is 233 S. Wacker Drive Suite 4400 Chicago, IL 60606. USS Satriales Solar, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of US Solar, LLC, located at the same address. The applicant is not operating under an assumed name.
All persons wishing to be heard in support of or opposition to the proposed Conditional Use Permit shall be afforded such an opportunity, and may submit their statement orally, in writing, or both.
